AI-Pendency

AI-Pendency is a visual novel that follows a college student as they navigate a normal day with the help of an AI assistant named James. At first, James appears to be reliable, but as the day progresses, some of his advice becomes misleading and confusing to the player. Players must decide whether to trust the AI or rely on their own judgment while facing everyday situations full of puzzles and challenges. The game explores how overreliance on AI can affect decision-making, leading to multiple outcomes.

This game is a school project developed by a team of 4 at the University of Utah during the Spring semester of 2026.
